Venice Film Festival 2016 has kicked off in serious style. From the Hollywood style set to the very best industry talent, here are the fashion highlights so far...
The annual Venice Film Festival 2016 has begun and the red carpet has our full focus as a whole host of stylish celebs will be showing off next season's most lust-worthy gowns.
In celebration of all these divine dresses, we've rounded-up the best style moments so far, including some gorgeous off the red carpet moments too..
Emma Stone has already clocked up a few winning looks, firstly by putting a fashion-forward spin on florals in the pretty Giambattista Valli dress, and later donning a custom Atelier Versace gown made up of beaded ribbons. The festival opened on her film musical romance La La Land, which also stars Ryan Gosling. The new movie from Damien Chazelle, the director of Whiplash, sees Stone portray an aspiring actress and Gosling is a jazz musician, both struggling to make ends meet.
Gemma Arterton is already standing out as a contender for the best dressed of the festival, stepping out in a chic but sexy Stella McCartney gown and a tiered strapless patchwork printed dress from Sonia Rykiel. Alicia Vikander is following closely in her wake with her a classy take on tie-dye, as is supermodel Barbara Palvin wore a dreamy white confection from Philosophy di Lorenzo Serafini
With the festival set to run for another two weeks, we can't wait to see what's in store style-wise. Stay tuned for all the spectacular style on and off the red carpet.
First up, here's Lily-Rose Depp, who dazzled in a Chanel Haute Couture dress at the Planetarium premiere.
