These are the most used fashion words of 2017

It turns out the political climate had a massive impact on the fashion world in 2017, with the top three most-used words referencing activism and feminism.
The global fashion search engine Lyst analyzed more than 30,000 online fashion editorial articles from 100 different fashion and lifestyle publications over the course of 2017 to find out the top 10 most-used words and there's a definite theme.
'Power', 'woke' and 'statement' were all named in the top 3 alongside 'masculine' which reference fashion's take on feminism with Dior's "We Should All Be Feminists" t-shirts and power dressing both on the runway, and off, think Hillary Clinton's power suits.
