A firm favourite in the 90s, thanks to Alexa Chung the popular Summer staple is making a comeback in 2015. Not to be confused with jumpsuits, Dungarees this season come in all shapes and sizes, from denim to pinstripes. Look out for details such as zip detail fronts, classic blue wash, leather, oversized pocket details and chunky buttons. But are they just for Summer and what do we wear under them, we hear you ask! Not just for holidays, wear now with a skinny fit roll neck underneath for a 70s twist that's totally office appropriate. We favour a frilly Victoriana style blouse layered underneath too, extra style points if you go for one with a black ribbon bow. Very Alexa Chung and lends a girly edge to a otherwise quite masculine shape. If you're looking for a style to flatter curves, try one of the flared options and go for a close fit. Underneath always wear something that will show off your waist for the most flattering look. No baggy oversized tees here. For a more playful look why not wear with one side undone, worn with statement coloured necklace and bright vest. In terms of what coat or jacket to shoulder robe with, we say stick to a biker jacket or cropped parka. Anything longer and 'coat' like in shape won't work with the proportion of the dungaree. The wide leg denim lends it self to a chunky wedge heel, hello 70s. Why not try a leather tee underneath for a easy Saturday night outfit sorted.
Summer BBQ weather is just around the corner, wear these with a broderie anglaise frilly top underneath for the perfect outfit.
Yes dungarees can be flared too. Perfect on a curvy shape, you want this to be hugging your curves not oversized. Keep it simple with a skinny fit roll neck underneath for a 70s vibe.
Banish all thoughts of car mechanic and wear with a lace up cafe style sexy high heel and black lace trim Cami underneath for a look that takes you straight to the bar. For weekend wear with stripy tee and chunky flatforms.
These wide leg short dungarees are just dying to be rolled up and teamed with CK crop top and studded pool sliders for a modem twist on the 90s look.
Festival ready yet? Stand out from the crowd in this Hollister option. Team with Teva style hiking flats and you're good to go.
Launching on the 20th May, the Grace overalls are a fashion editor favourite, we say get your name on that waiting list
Embrace the 90s vibe with this classic blue denim pair, just add box fresh white stan smiths and a smile.
We can't let go of our ripped denim obsession and these tick the box perfectly. We'll be wearing these with blk patent ankle boots with just the right amount of rolled up denim.
Love the geometric print? Now you can wear it head to toe, wear with a plain autumnal colour underneath like berry or teal blue for the most flattering colour combo and let the print sing.
