& Other Stories: Our New Shopping Heaven

Last night we got a sneak peek at new high street store & Other Stories.
The making of the & Other Stories new high street store has all been pretty hush, hush - there have been three years of mystery, in fact. Brought to us from the teams behind H&M and COS, our expectations had grown bigger and bigger with each passing month. So when an invite finally landed for a secret preview to check it out, we raced our way there. And, boy, were we impressed!
Set over two floors, the 1,200 square metre store on Regent Street features a complete range of accessories, bags, jewellery and ready-to-wear, as well as a dedicated shoe and beauty department. It's officially our new shopping heaven!
The concept behind the new brand is all about mixing and matching different pieces and styles to create your own unique look. As Anna Teurnell, Head of Design, explains: 'Our diverseness comes from building collections around different fashion stories. Ranging from masculine tailoring to feminine chic we’re offering our customers endless styling choices.'
Every item is designed in the brand's creative ateliers in Paris and Stockholm and you can clearly see and feel this amazing attention to quality and detail. However, you'll be glad to know it still all comes at an affordable price with neoprene clutch bags from £19 and stacked platform sandals from £75
Already a hit with celebrities - we spotted Mary Charteris, Portia Freeman, Tiphaine de Lussy and Bat for Lashes Natasha Khan all wearing pieces from the store in their own cool and unique way. With the on-set of major style envy we hit the rails ourselves to scoop out our favourite pieces. Our verdict? Well, two hours later, and weighed down with bagfuls of purchases, we emerged. We'd call that a definite shopping success!
But don't be envious, the store officially opens today so you too can go forth and buy. With special gifts being randomly handed out on the day throughout the store and the chance of winning a 25% discount card for the entire year, we're almost tempted to make a return visit. And best of all, even if you don't live in London you can still buy everything online at www.stories.com
