Your guide to what’s in store at Primark right now...
Ahh Primark. It’s long been our go-to for a fast fashion fix and for autumn/winter 2016 the high street hero has outdone itself. The weatherman is beginning to warn us of wintery conditions, so now is the time to stock up on cosy knits, tailored coats and boots galore.
From slick embroidered blazers, perfect for anyone looking for an alternative evening wear ensemble, to the coolest outerwear for crisp autumn strolls, Primark is ticking all our boxes this season.
We can't wait to get our hands on the gorgeous stepped hem denim jean options. This trend is going absolutely nowhere, so get these in your wardrobe ASAP. A snip of the price of the original Vetements jeans that caused this look to go viral over fashion month, these are a no-brainer for anyone who loves classics-with-a-twist.
Bomber jackets have joined our trusty leather biker as our throw-on-over-everything weekend jacket. The perfect layering piece, they're a great AW16 cover up and are very model-off-duty indeed.
Leopard print is back in a big way this autumn/winter. Whether it was the Ab Fab movie sending us sartorial subliminal messages, or the results of Givenchy, Saint Laurent and Calvin Klein collectively making a strong case for the Bet Lynch staple for AW16, we're into it. If animal prints aren't your jam, the maroon-coloured heritage check coat with faux fur collar, or the bottle green military coat are also solid choices. Heritage checks are set to be big for spring/summer 2016 so invest early, we say.
Call it nostalgia or practicality, but this childhood staple is making a serious resurgence. This one reminds us of the military-style Burberry backpacks that have become a street style staple, and that's all the reason we need to snap this little beauty up.
