ASOS are sending out the weirdest free gift with every delivery
They're taking fresh threads to another level

They're taking fresh threads to another level
We’re all for receiving free samples with our ASOS deliveries, but a new addition to a recent batch of packages has people thoroughly confused. Over the past week, a few people have come forward on Twitter to complain about finding broken packs of mint Polos nestled amongst their orders.
Some people have been thoroughly chuffed about finding whole packs of the sweet treats in their black and white bags, but others have complained about seemingly half-eaten mints and white powder in their orders.
ASOS hasn’t released an official statement about why exactly free polos are a thing, but their customer service account has acknowledged them below.
This isn’t the first time that ASOS has sent nibbles along with customer purchases, as in late 2015 people were similarly divided on snacks like cream crackers and crisps smuggled in with their party dresses.
Whether it’s a strange marketing campaign or a brand partnership, the minty additions have been steadily garnering attention on social media and amongst media outlets.
When we asked ASOS about the surprise gift, a spokesperson said, 'We love giving our customers little surprise sample packs from time-to-time but, of course, we don't want them to turn up in pieces. This short-term promotion has now ended and we will be reviewing the process.'

They had the best intentions and we'll give them that. If ASOS could chuck in a couple of free summer dresses next time round however, we certainly wouldn’t complain...
