After all your ‘new year, new you’ gym goals, are you in a bit of a one-month-in slump?
After all your ‘new year, new you’ gym goals, are you in a bit of a one-month-in slump?
Words by Natalie Westernoff
Fear not, here’s a bit of motivation to get you back on track (literally) - Missoni are launching their first athleisure collection exclusively for mytheresa.com. That’s right, the famous knitted zig zags are now flashing their way over crop tops, leggings and other downward-dog-friendly pieces.
Angela Missoni’s inspiration for the collection was none other than her niece, Jennifer Missoni – an LA-based yoga lover. 'There’s a big trend in activewear, and as I felt this part of the wardrobe was missing from my regular collection; I decided to create this capsule,' Angela explains.
There are six styles, all in signature Missoni prints, including tops, trousers, and a jaw-dropping jumpsuit.
Whether you’re a queen yogini or your sun salutations need major work, we’re loving the extra bit of gymspiration in the video below – featuring Jennifer practising poses against the backdrop of the fabulous Missoni house north of Milan, of course. Gymbox in the rain will have to do for us – but we can pretend.
Pieces start from around £240
