From 'Suits' star to possible princess, we trace the style evolution of Meghan Markle. Prepare yourself for quite the journey...
Meghan Markle has certainly had an unusual journey to becoming a ‘possible Princess.’ Having played a number of small roles in the likes of CSI: NY and teen drama 90210 – in a scene where she was caught conducting a sex act on one of the key male characters – in 2015 the 36 year-old Canadian actress landed a role in the popular courtroom drama, Suits, playing Rachel Zane.
Markle has medaled in a number of projects alongside her acting work, too. Before recently closing her lifestyle website, The Tig Meghan maintained an editor-in-chief role at the title as well as acting as a global ambassador for World Vision Canada. If she didn’t already appear as a Princess Diana in the marking, Markle is also an advocate for the United Nations Entity for Gender Equality and the Empowerment.
The comparisons to Princess Diana do not stop at the active charity work, however, with the pair sharing a certain flair for fashion. Since Prince Harry confirmed his relationship with the Suits actress in a statement issued by Kensington Palace last year, Meghan became one of the most Googled actresses of 2016.
The actress’ style has certainly attracted much of this attention. ‘Matchy Meghan’ is certainly one phrase you could use to categorize her clothing. The actress favours matchy-matchy head to toe hues for red carpet events and for television chat show appearances. Having frequented New York Fashion Week Meghan certainly isn’t afraid to make a designer move as well.
When it comes to beauty the future Mrs. Prince Harry has a penchant for a brilliant blow dry to top off her bass-ass business looks, which are always grounded by a killer pointed stiletto heel. Meghan isn’t afraid to leave her Suits character’s overall style in her trailer, it would seem.
From jobbing actress to Suits star and possible Princess we trace Meghan Markle’s style evolution, below…
