London's starriest front row EVER!

Gwyneth, Posh and, erm, Peter Mandelson make up Burberry's high-flying front row
I want to write about Burberry's gorgeous colour palette, the feminine touches on Christopher Bailey's designs and those highly covetable accessories, but it would be hard to comment on last night's Burberry Prorsum catwalk show - the design house's first showing in London for many years - without mentioning the stellar guest list.
'Apparently they got everyone they wanted,' was the word on the third row. No kidding.
Gwyneth, Posh, Freida Pinto (snuggled up to boyfriend Dev Patel), an Olsen, Liv Tyler, Emma Watson and even Peter Mandelson (to mention just a few) all squeezed themselves into what has to be London's starriest front row ever.
In fact, you almost didn't need to watch the show at all, as most of the stars in attendance (Mandelson apart) were wearing the spring/summer 2010 collection already. Gwynnie teamed her baby blue, twisted chiffon skirt with a punky tee and tough-girl ankle boots, Freida modelled a butter yellow dress with high Burberry sandals, while Agyness Deyn - sporting a new ultra-dark hairdo and taking a break from catwalk duty - paired her new-season dress with knee-high pop socks and a crucifix necklace.
On the runway itself, pop socks didn't get a look in but sky-high heels most definitely did, worn with the aforementioned pretty loop-knot dresses and skirts, and some of the sweetest, most gorgeous trench coats we've ever seen. Out were the military details of previous seasons, replaced with soft silhouettes, feather-light fabrics and spring shades of pink, blue and lavender.
Even without the celebrity contingent on hand to show us how to style the new pieces, you don't need to be a psychic to know this collection will be a hit.
