Hill & Friends Get Arty For London Fashion Week

With their crayola coloured hues and signature iconic ‘wink’ twist locks, Hill & Friends bags are a regular street style spot and guaranteed to raise a smile on even the dullest of days. And now the British accessories brand is set to brighten up your weekend too with an art-filled collaboration this Saturday, February 17th.
Teaming up artists Alexa Coe and Elizabeth Ilsley, customers are being invited to visit their South Molton Street store to view an art installation by Alexa Coe whilst Elizabeth Ilsley will be custom painting key bag styles from Hill & Friends.
The visual artist Elizabeth Ilsley is best known for her feminist punk paintings which she hand paints onto leather jackets. Both funny and honest, think slogans including, 'I SHAVE MY LEGS FOR YOU,' the Birmingham based artist's designs have been spotted on everyone from Rihanna to Kim Kardashian and Kanye West. As part of the pop-up a leather Hill & Friends Tote and Tweecy bags painted by Elizabeth will be available for purchase.
Meanwhile, Coe is curating an exhibition of her works which focus on the female nude. Her goal is to challenge not only "'what it is to “look female” but exploring the sensuality of the body, how it truly feels to be female and ultimately how it is to feel human."
Visitors to the store will also get a sneak peek at the brand's forthcoming autumn winter 2108 collection.
