We couldn’t be more excited about these fabulous stickers. Why? Because legendary fashion illustrator, Donald Robertson, has designed them, specially for us. Donald was one of the three original founders of Mac cosmetics and has been stunning the fashion world with his whimsical, freehand, fashion drawings for decades.
Creator of that striking Giles lip print for SS14, Donald has drawn portraits for Grace Coddington, Bobbi Brown and he’s even created Anna Wintour… as a lamp. Genius. Donald’s work is the definition of eye candy, and not only did he create our arty cover AND the stickers, but his delightfully witty images also cover the inside pages of the magazine.
Once Donald had drawn his favourite moments and characters from SS14, we handed over the images to our friends at MOO.COM, who printed them for us. MOO.COM are, quite frankly, an amazing print company who do just about everything, from stickers, to business cards to postcards. Brilliant.
We think you won’t be able to resist customising your Marie Claire Runway SS14 cover with them. Here at Marie Claire HQ, we’ve been in a sticker frenzy, swapping, sharing and comparing: fancy Karl on your phone? What about Donatella and Moncler’s skateboarding gorillas on your diary? If you do get a bit sticker-happy, be sure to tweet us your handiwork #marieclairerunway.
So, it’s a very big fashion thank you to both Donald and MOO.COM, without whom we wouldn’t have these stunning stickers.
