Let these smart celebrities inspire your office style for the new season…
Ah, celebrity workwear inspiration. As singers, actresses, models and the like, it's not very often that we get to see our favourite celebrities wearing actual bona fide going-to-the-office, might-even-have-commuted workwear. Really, we could hardly expect them to don suits for auditions, or carry briefcases on the red carpet.
So when we do spot an A-lister trailing smart style on the street, we get a little bit excited. Putting stylish spins on our wardrobe staples, some celebrities get the whole workwear vibe oh-so right.
Take Olivia Palermo, for example. OP is no stranger to sharp tailoring and modern takes on the classic suit while Emma Watson is a new breed of power dresser, putting the tuxedo on the radar for the Insta-generation. But it's not all suits and crisp white shirts, if you're stuck on what to wear to the office in the summer, look to Victoria Beckham, Sienna Miller and Lily Aldridge for their brilliant-and-elegant takes on skirts and dresses as workwear.
Amal Clooney and Gigi Hadid favour the classic midi dress and on-point pumps combo, while Victoria Beckham has mastered the art of never looking boring in black. Emma Watson's look had evolved throughout the years and with red carpet hit after hit, she's firmly earned her place on our inspiration boards. Take this classic tux for example, which she wore with a classic crisp which shirt buttoned all the way to the top, alternatively it could be dressed down with some mules and a luxe T-shirt.
Eclectic accessories can make a workwear outfit look anything but dull, says Beyoncé, while Jessica Alba proves that simple separates can be given a high fashion edge with a few of fashion's beloved styling tips - shoulder robing, anyone?
So fix up, look sharp and let these smart celebrities inspire your office style for the new season...

Olivia works pin stripes on both the top and trousers, but the key to her fabulousness is in the proportions. The wider spread of stripes on the trousers creates an illusion of longer legs and the closer together ones make her look smaller up top.
