Eva Mendes glams up the front row at Calvin Klein
Eva Mendes was looking her gorgeous best on the front row at Calvin Klein this afternoon. Currently appearing oiled up and topless, wrapped arounded a muscle-bound Jamie Dornan (Keira's ex), on massive billboards for the fashion house's latest jeans campaign around the city, she was in an altogether more demure mood at the catwalk show.
As for the clothes she was there to see: effortlessly brilliant. This was, without a doubt, my favourite Calvin Klein collection to date.
With a colour palette that barely whispered outside white, save for a handful of dove grey pieces and a smattering of pale jade and lemon, it was quietly stunning.
Lighter-than-air fabrics - thinks silks, chiffons or double-faced cotton - had been texturised with pleats and snags, or treated to appear crinkled or shrunk.
Shapes were loose and sometimes layered, with sheer panelled jackets worn over racerbank tank tops or T-shirt dresses, and the overall effect was mesmerising.
No wonder Eva's such a fan.
