Blake Lively is taking style pointers from Meghan Markle
Cue the mile-long wait list

Blake Lively has always been streets ahead of the fashion pack and blazed her own trail as one of Hollywood’s best dressed celebrities, though this time she’s taking a leaf out of somebody else’s playbook. Over the Easter weekend, Blake stepped out and was spotted wearing a very familiar coat - one beloved by fellow actress Meghan Markle.
Blake was spotted on the streets of New York with her daughter James, rushing off to an Easter shindig at their pal Martha Stewart’s home. Dressed in a spring-appropriate floral midi skirt and white turtleneck, it was her unbuttoned coat that caught our attention. The gorgeous piece is from Smythe and it’s called the Brando Coat in Camel, which retails for over £500. With razor sharp lapels and a dramatically long hem, it’s a fun menswear-inspired piece that we’re super into.
Meghan has previously been spotted in the same look on her more casual engagements, such as a visit to a radio station earlier this January. While it may cost a pretty penny, it’s one of the best camel coats on the market and a highlight of the esteemed Meghan Markle coats collection - making it no surprise that a fellow A-lister would have snapped up the same piece.
Unfortunately, the Smythe coat is out of stock with no word when it’s going to return to shelves. In the meantime, we’ve managed to find a similar look below to tide you over.
