Runway editor Charlotte Moore was blown away by Miuccia Prada's art-influenced show at Milan Fashion Week. Here's why we're still talking about it...
1. The muralists. Prada had commissioned six emerging muralists to create the wall art for its spring/summer ’14 show in Milan. The delectable show invite (six oversized postcard paintings each of different women from different artists) was our first hint of Miuccia Prada's super cool collaboration with these colour-loving contemporary muralists for the project called 'In the Heart of the Multitude’.
2. Beyond bold colour. Have you fallen for monochrome? Well. hold your breath. Orange, red and zinging blue ruled at Prada. And we just loved the rainbow motif. It all just said: 'Look at me now!'
3. The sport-tastic legwarmer sock hybrid. Feathered, bejewelled and striped. Anna Dello Russo will definitely be seen working a pair soon.
4. The rhinestone bras. Weird but wonderful. Who else but Miuccia Prada could pull these off?
