A-list couple of the moment, supermodel Gigi Hadid and One Direction defective Zayn Malik are getting pretty serious, if a new interview with Malik is anything to go by.
Talking to the Evening Standard, Zayn says Gigi hasn't moved into one of his (three) houses yet, but the pair are unofficially co-habiting. 'We haven't swapped keys or anything [but] we live together wherever we are' he said.
Zayn also revealed that he likes to cook up some British classics for his supermodel girlfriend. His signatures? 'Steak and potato pie. Sunday roast dinner and Yorkshire pudding.' And apparently Gigi loves a good Yorkshire.
Malik said Gigi, who he met at a Victoria's Secret party, is 'a very intelligent woman. She knows how to carry herself. She's quite classy and that. She's not, like, arrogant in any way, she's confident. She's carries it well. She's cool.'
Zayn quit One Direction suddenly in 2015. There were suggestions at the time that he'd had a 'breakdown', but in the interview insists he was just tired of the absolute control being in a world-famous pop band entailed, 'so that you didn't have time to think because you were concentrating so hard on work' he said, 'I lost my bearings of what time it was, sometimes, what day it was.'
'One day, I was a chilled normal guy living at home with my parents, going to school. The next, I'm all over the world and people know who I am.' He said he is yet to visit a country where he isn't recognised.

Malik has just released an autobiograpy (simply titled Zayn) which charts his exit from the band and the ensuing two years which followed. His music career since leaving the band has been hugely successful, with a debut album Mind of Mine that made him the first UK male artist to achieve a number one record in both the US and UK for a debut album. And by the looks of it, he's just getting started.
