Where IS Samira Mighty from Love Island? The internet needs to know

Last night’s Love Island was a bit of a mad one, with Alex finally finding love (or something like it) with Ellie and Adam's behaviour actually prompting Women's Aid to issue a warning about abusive partners. Well, people started kicking off on the internet about something else that also happened in the episode - or rather, didn’t happen much at all.
Samira Mighty was notably absent, prompting the hashtag #whereissamira to begin trending on Twitter. While the West End star hasn’t been lucky in love on the show, she’s become one of the show’s favourites and her presence was sorely missed.
She did make a little appearance to hype up her pal Rosie, who was having problems with her man Adam. Samira gave her advice that all of us have needed at one point, saying, ‘You are a woman and he is a boy.’
People quickly began speculating that she’d been booted off Love Island 2018, while others thought she might have followed in Niall Aslam’s footsteps and mysteriously disappeared from the series. Samira is reportedly embroiled in a lawsuit with the West End’s Dreamgirls at the moment, which she was slated to star in but left to do Love Island instead.
On Twitter, it didn't slip under the radar that Samira didn't actually fall asleep in her shared bed with her partner Adam...
Others were worried about her wellbeing. And Eyal, who by the way, was also missing.

And then others were determined to find Samira somebody, so that we'd a) see more of her and b) she'd be much happier on the show. Given that her pal Alex has had no end of support, it's Samira's time to shine.
However, a Love Island rep confirmed to The Daily Mirror that Samira is actually still in the villa.
Here's hoping that in this episode we see lots of her.
