Even if you haven't seen 13 Reasons Why yet, you've at least heard of it. You'll probably have seen aproximately 495,020,934 articles about it on your Facebook feed, or you'll have listened to your friends talking about how much someone called Jeff 'deserved better' (he did).
And if you have seen it, you're more than likely in the 99.9% of people who binge watched it all in two days because the adorable Clay was in no apparent rush to listen to the tapes, and would rather ride around on his bike being frustrated and frustrating.
The Netflix show has Selena Gomez and her mum at the helm, and is well on its way to becoming the most popular series on the streaming service ever (sorry, Stranger Things). It's based on the novel by Jay Asher and tells the story of Hannah Baker, a high school student who commits suicides and leaves thirteen tapes for her schoolmates to listen to in order to find out why she did it.
Although the show has been widely praised, it has also been widely criticised. However, it is responsible for starting a national conversation about mental health which can only be a good thing. And if you haven't seen it yet, probably stop reading now.
Those of us who want to know what the hell even happens next - is Tyler actually responsible for shooting Alex? Where did Justin and his gym bag get to? And will Tony ever stop dressing like he's an extra in Grease? - are in luck because the show has been so successful that a second season is in sight. Although it is yet to be officially confirmed, we all know it's probably going to happen.

And in an even bigger twist than Clay's tape (our hearts) - it will include Hannah Baker.
Showrunner Brian Yorkey told The Hollywood Reporter: 'Hannah's story is still very much not finished. She's an integral part of whatever the next chapter of the story is, and she is at the centre of it.'
During season one, the present and the past were interlaced so that Hannah was able to tell her own story to us all through the medium of the tapes, so the next season could see her crop up in flashbacks - perhaps even from the perspective of the other characters.
However their stories unfold, we just have one request - bring Jeff back too.
