Before Star Wars: The Last Jedi hit cinemas last December, rumours were rife that Prince William and Prince Harry would be making a 'surprise' appearance in the latest Star Wars movie.
Everyone's favourite royal siblings had been pictured on the film's set back in April 2016, leading everyone to believe the royal duo would be making a cameo.
Not only did the two pose for a picture with the cast and crew, but the brothers were seen battling it out in what looks like an epic/hilarious lightsaber battle. Heck, Prince William was even papped getting up close and personal with Chewbacca.
Princes William and Harry also attended the Star Wars premier back in December 2017, further leading fans to speculate a guest appearance from the two.
However, everyone's dreams came crashing down when John Boyega, one of the stars of the franchise, revealed that the royal cameo had been cut from the final edit during an interview on BBC Radio 4's Today show.
'I've had enough with those Prince William secrets man, because I swear - there was images or whatever online. They came on set, they were there, man,' he confirmed.

'I think they took that scene out,' he then went onto reveal.
As it turns out, the two Princes were due to make non-speaking appearances in the film under the disguise of strormtroopers.
However, it's now been revealed that the reason their cameo was cut is because they're just too damn tall.
'Stormtroopers have to be exactly 5ft 11in,' a source revealed to the Daily Mail. 'Everyone feels bad that William and Harry lost out on their big moment. However, the scene just didn't work for the final cut so it was left out.'
Somehow we think Wills and Harry will have plenty of other big moments to look forward to, such as the birth of Prince William's third child and Prince Harry's upcoming wedding to Meghan Markle.
