This royal family member is considering a part in the next James Bond film

This is not a drill. We repeat. This is not a drill.

This is not a drill. We repeat. This is not a drill.

The royals have to be the most talked-about family in the world, with the Mountbatten-Windsors making news for everything from baby Archie's christening to the rumoured royal feud.

The Queen is understandably more talked-about than most of her relatives, with her cameo in a James Bond sketch at the 2012 London Olympic Games cementing her as one of the most popular royal family members of all time.

It's hardly surprising therefore that her son, Prince Charles, is apparently looking to do some work with the franchise too.

Yes, this is not a drill. Prince Charles might feature in an upcoming James Bond film.

According to The Sun on Sunday, the Prince of Wales - first in line to the throne - is considering a cameo in the new untitled film, referred to as Bond 25, after being invited by producers following his visit to the set.

Prince Charles reportedly had a tour of the set at Pinewood Studios alongside Daniel Craig himself, with Bond's producer Barbara Broccoli explaining, 'He had a lot to talk about with Daniel. They both have a love for Aston Martin… Boys with toys!'

According to sources, the Bond crew think of Prince Charles as 'the epitome of everything British' and therefore a perfect fit for the series.

We're crossing our fingers for a royal announcement on the subject!
