It all makes sense
It all makes sense
Words by Jadie Troy-Pryde
Love Island fever is at an all time high. The popular ITV2 show, which sees singles hanging out in a lush beachy villa for a couple of weeks, has had the nation hooked. The current bunch of residents include none other than Marcel Somerville from noughties band Blazin' Squad (don't know if he's mentioned that?) as well as one of Prince Harry's exes.
And it seems that yet another familiar face has washed up on the beachy shores of Love Island.
After the ejection of Mike Thalassitis and Jessica Shears, the bikini-clad islanders were introduced to their new housemates - 28 year old barber Simon Searles, and 24 year old model, Tyla Carr.
But it's not Tyla's first stint on reality TV, and many fans were scratching their heads to try and work out where they'd spotted her before.
It turns out she had already tried to find love on Channel 4's First Dates.

Tyla, who as recently as last year went by 'Tyler', appeared on the show as a part-time nanny and was paired with 30 year-old Bobby - who turned up for his date with his mum.
Is it all falling into place now?
Bobby and Tyla got on well and even arranged another date, but based on the fact she's moved onto another dating show we're going to say things didn't work out for them.
But here's to hoping she finds the man of her dreams on Love Island instead.
