We can’t wait.

It was announced last month that a Love Actually sequel was in the works, being screened on TV later this month as part of a comic relief special for Red Nose Day 2017.

Ever since the announcement of Red Nose Day Actually (yes, that is its official name), Love Actually screen-writer (and Richard Curtis’ wife), Emma Freud, has been keeping us excited, posting behind-the-scenes shots and teasers to Twitter.

Not only have her posts revealed which cast members will be returning, with almost all of the original cast taking part, it has also given us a few teasers of which scenes we can expect to see in the mini catch up.

By the looks of it they will be recreating quite a few of our favourite scenes, with David (Hugh Grant) delivering another rousing speech and father and son, Daniel (Liam Neeson) and Sam (Thomas Brodie-Sangster) having another emotional heart to heart on their bench.

Emma Freud’s most recent reveal, however, is the most exciting of all, involving the best Love Actually scene of all time: the sign scene where Peter (Andrew Lincoln) tells Juliet (Keira Knightley) that he loves her.

Since the first film we’ve all been rooting for Peter and Juliet, and it looks like Richard Curtis might be finally giving us what we want, with Emma posting photos on twitter of Andrew Lincoln and Keira Knightley filming ANOTHER sign scene.

‘It was 13 years ago. There is more facial hair now. But he still loves her…’ posted Emma, with a photo showing Andrew filming for the sequel holding the same board reading ‘Tell him it’s carol singers’

She then uploaded another picture of the filming, captioned, ‘Andrew Lincoln + Cards + Doorstep = Deep Joy.’

Another sign scene? Does that mean Juliet and Peter will finally get together? It’s only taken them thirteen years!

Unfortunately it doesn’t look too hopeful judging by Emma’s most recent tweet, a picture of Keira Knighley (Juliet) and her onscreen husband Chiwetel Ejiofor (Peter) filming a scene together.

She captioned the snap: ‘Last night, our last night on #rednosedayactually. Marital bliss, the best pyjamas I’ve ever seen, and major #jerseyenvy’

Maybe she'll finally have to choose between them - we don’t know what to expect, but if there’s one thing we do know it’s that March 24th can’t come soon enough – we need to see Red Nose Day Actually now.
