This Game of Thrones fan theory will blow your mind
We refuse to believe it
Words by Maisie Bovingdon
We are nearing the end of the eighth and final series of Game of Thrones *sigh*, and with the finale just around the corner fans of the HBO series are speculating over how the drama will end.
GoT viewers believe Arya Stark (Maisie Williams) and Daenerys Targaryen (Emilia Clarke) are set for a very dramatic plot twist.
One fan theory claims Daenerys and Arya will come head to head in a vicious battle, which will see Sansa Stark's sister (Sophie Turner) die to prove to Jon Snow (Kit Harington) how conniving his lover is.
In a previous episode Arya makes her way to King's Landing and insisted she had some business to take care over, although she warned she would not return. Sounds ominous, right?
However, the killing spree won't involve Arya and Cersei, instead Arya will enter into battle with Emilia's character.
Here's another plot twist? Despite Arya choosing to go head to head with Daenerys, she will purposefully lose the fight.

The conspiracy, which was posted on Reddit, reads: 'I believe that Arya is headed to King's Landing to attempt to kill Dany. I believe Arya will intentionally fail this assassination, forcing Dany to kill her, in full view of Jon.
'This will allow Jon to finally see Dany for what she is. Jon kills Dany... And there you have it, the Prince that was Promised.
'Arya's real target is Dany - the Starks' values have always centred around protecting family. Arya and Sansa know that Jon is in danger.'
But will Snow defend his relatives or lover?
Although the theory claims Arya will sacrifice her life, the fan believes Jon will kill off Daenerys, although another theory predicts Jon will die.
The post continued: 'Jon seeing Dany for her true nature, he has to kill her - it's the only fitting ending. He doesn't care about the throne but he cares about his people and Dany sitting on the throne is no better than Cersei or the Night King sitting there.'
