Choosing Betty Draper's best moments was tough (but hopefully cathartic!) for our May cover star January Jones, who admits letting go of the iconic Mad Men character has been difficult. 'I'll miss speaking for Betty the most,' she muses. 'It was very hard that last day knowing that I would never again speak in her voice.'

'It's so hard to choose [my favourite] but I guess the shooting birds scene in the episode "Shoot". It was such an iconic visual for me (and others) of Betty.'

(AMC/Mad Men)

'I love the scene with Betty and Glen at the bank at the end of season; such a heartbreaking scene that explains so much about Betty's emotional maturity.'

(AMC/Mad Men)

'I love the Rome episode just for pure visual reasons and because Jon and I had so much fun doing it. The costumes and hair and makeup were so fun.'

(AMC/Mad Men)

'I treasure the scenes Jon and I did when Betty confronts Don about his identity. They were so emotionally charged and difficult to do but we really leaned on each other and I love the result, even though we knew it was essentially the end of their relationship.'

(AMC/Mad Men)

'I really enjoyed the scene in season 6 at the camp when Betty and Don rekindle for the evening. It really shows you how much Betty has grown and how much Don has changed - but the love for each other is still there.'

The final series of Mad Men airs on Sky Atlantic on 9 April.
