The John Lewis Christmas advert 2017 has finally arrived meaning one thing - the festive season has officially started.
And good news for all the Pinterest addicts out there because to mark the start of the party season, a new feature is available on the platform and it's all very exciting.
That's right - the mood board-inspired site is getting a major upgrade today, and we have a feeling you're going to love it.
Today, Pinterest launched a brand new boards section, making it even easier to organise your Pins.
According to a press release from the site, ‘now you can create multiple sections within a single board to more seamlessly save ideas and quickly find them when you want to try them.’ If you have multiple boards for your holiday planning ideas, you can now create a single board and divide it into sections like decor, gifts, recipes, and outfits.

‘With sections as our top requested feature of all time, we started testing “boards within boards” with a small group of Pinners and made improvements based on their feedback,’ according to Pinterest. The new features start rolling out today across all platforms and will be available to all Pinners before you can say ‘Christmas Recipe Ideas and Inspiration.’
The new feature launched just in time for the holiday season when you know you'll be scouring Pinterest for all the best holiday party inspiration.
