The Prince Harry and Meghan Markle wedding date and venue have just been announced.
As we predicted, the happy couple have picked the more low-key Windsor Castle for their wedding venue, where they plan to get married in May 2018.
'The marriage of His Royal Highness Prince Henry of Wales and Ms. Meghan Markle will take place at St. George's Chapel, Windsor Castle in May, 2018' a statement released by Kensington Palace read.
Like his cousin Freddie Windsor (below), Harry has chosen the more private setting of St George's Chapel in Windsor Castle for his wedding to Meghan, which could indicate the couple's intention to have a smaller and more intimate style of ceremony.
As second in line to the throne, Harry's older brother William would have had little choice other than a big televised event at Westminster Abbey. But as fifth in line to the throne, Harry is able to do something a little more relaxed and private.
Kensington Palace also confirmed that the Royal Family will pay for the wedding.
