Victoria Beckham is one of the most talked about people in the world, and whether travelling around Australia with the family (and Harry and Megs) or launching a VB chocolate line with famed chocolatier Pierre Marcolini, she never fails to make viral news.
Today however she made news for a different reason, with the former Spice Girl and now big-time fashion designer announced as the recipient of the People’s Choice Awards’ Fashion Icon of 2018.
The annual People's Choice awards celebrate the best in movies, TV, music and fashion, with VB being the first of the winners announced ahead of the November show.
‘Absolutely iconic,’ the People’s Choice Awards captioned a photo of Victoria Beckham. ‘Join us on Nov 11 when we honour Victoria Beckham with the Fashion Icon Award.'
And to say that it went down well would be an understatement. 'Yes, PERFECT choice. 20 years later, she’s STILL my favourite icon,’ posted one user. While another commented: ‘One and only. Classy, timeless, elegant, smart.’
One of the most excited by the news however was Victoria Beckham herself, who took to her Instagram to post her excitement.
‘So excited to receive the Fashion Icon Award at People’s Choice November 11th! x VB’.
The People’s Choice Awards 2019 airs on 11 November.
