Meghan Markle’s half sister just cleared up the Celebrity Big Brother rumours
And everyone is pretty relieved.
And everyone is pretty relieved.
Meghan Markle has had a trying time in the run and up and since becoming a Duchess, and unfortunately for the former actress, it all seems to surround one side of her family – the Markles.
There was the ongoing drama of whether her father, Thomas Markle, would be walking her down the aisle, not to mention his staged photographs for the press, and appearance on Good Morning Britain, where he may have divulged a little too much. Then there was her nephew, Tyler Dooley, who despite being estranged from the 36-year-old, named his Cannabis business after her and just landed himself an MTV show for the royal connection.
But it wasn’t Thomas or Tyler who caused the most recent storm, with Meghan’s half-sister Samantha Grant being the latest family member to make us to face-palm.
After launching a series of angry tweets at the former Suits actress and telling her that if their father died she would blame the Duchess, Samantha made the most news after reports emerged that she would be walking into the Big Brother house.
Yes. Samantha Grant was rumoured to be going on this season of Celebrity Big Brother - and with the show launching last week, everyone was starting to panic that Grant could be a last-minute addition.
According to reports, the 53-year-old could have earnt a six figure sum for appearing on the Channel 5 show, with even Samantha admitting that she’s ‘cashing in’.

‘I would tell you, but then I would have to kill you,’ she stated when asked if she would be appearing on the reality show a couple of weeks back. ‘So… I don't want to find myself in locks and stocks, quite frankly.’
‘First of all, people don't know about me, I've worked in media most of my life and in broadcasting,’ Grand explained on Good Morning Britain when asked if she was ‘cashing in’.
‘So because my sister is suddenly royal isn't grounds for me to stop doing all that. Let's face it, we all have to survive, money makes the world go round. So if you want to call that cashing in, that's fine.’
This week however, Samantha Grant has opened up about the Celebrity Big Brother rumours and it seems like she has changed her mind.
'This just in: Not going on [CBB] considering I other opportunity,' Samantha tweeted. 'All up in the air LOL.'
Well, that's a relief for everyone - especially for Meghan.
