All the times the Queen and Prince Philip gave us #RelationshipGoals
As Queen Elizabeth celebrates her 90th birthday and Prince Philip celebrates his 95th, we chart all the times they gave us #RelationshipGoals...
Because they really are the ultimate power couple
Last year, Netflix's popular drama series The Crown had us all completely hooked on the history of The Queen and Prince Philip's relationship. Billed as Netflix's most expensive show ever, Claire Foy and Matt Smith (who played the iconic royal couple) had us on the edge of our seats for all 10 episodes of its first series. So we thought it was high time that this royal partnership was celebrated in all its visual glory.
From when they started corresponding way back in 1939 when Philip was in the Royal Navy, and later when they got wed on 20th November 1947, to the present day where the pair attend countless royal duties together, they're rarely seen in public without one another.
After almost 70 years of marriage and raising four children together, the loving moments are still very much there in abundance. From that time they shared a blanket when they were cold at the Braemar Highland Gathering, to when Prince Philip chivalrously picked up The Queen's flowers after she'd dropped them, their relationship is enough to warm even the coldest of hearts.
They're rarely cuddly (it's not exactly royal protocol for them to be overly affectionate in public), but they can often be seen having a cheeky giggle together, as if they are sharing the most hilarious inside joke.
Of course, the pair will have been each other's strength and support over the years, too. The Queen famously said of Philip, 'He has, quite simply, been my strength and stay all these years', which is a real testament to how sweet the two of them are.
In celebration of this enduring romance, here are all of the times The Queen and Prince Philip gave us *all* of the #RelationshipGoals. Get ready to feel all the feels as you scroll through their sweetest moments...

The early years
To start, here's an old portrait of the Queen and Prince Philip way back when they first fell in love. Smitten from the start, hey?
The time they wore 3D goggles
You've got to love these two for getting stuck right in to any royal obligation that's thrown at them. Here they are visiting the University of Sheffield and wearing 3D glasses to watch a futuristic display.
The time Prince Philip handed Queenie her racing trophy
At Royal Ascot, Prince Philip sweetly presents his love with her winning trophy.
The time they got well into the horse betting
These two love a good horse race, don't they? Photographed at the Investec Derby Festival horse racing event, it looks as if the Queen bet on a winner. Go'on, Queenie!
The time they shared a blanket
At the Braemar Highland Gathering in Scotland, the couple cuddled up underneath a blanket when they were cold.
Our hearts hurt.
The time they visited the zoo
Or what about that time they went to the opening of the Land of Lions at London Zoo?
The time they held hands
At the State Opening of Parliament in 2015, Prince Philip lovingly assisted his wife down the stairs.
They time they had a laugh on a boat
This is one of those aformentioned moments where you're just kind of *dying* to know what they're giggling about as they sit on a boat at a state visit to Germany.
The time Philip picked up something the Queen had dropped
On the same visit to Germany, Prince Philip lovingly picks up some flowers that his wife dropped. It's the small things.
The time they wore matching monochrome outfits
You know what they say: A couple who dresses together, stays together. As proved by these two who rocked up to the 100th anniversary of Gallipoli in matching monochrome.
The time they had all the LOLs in Scotland
We love this photo of them having serious LOLs as they attended another Braemer Highland Gathering.
The time they were brilliantly royal
At the State Opening of Parliament, the pair were so royal it hurts. Just look at that bling.
This sweet moment
At another Royal Ascot event, the pair shared this sweet moment as they chatted. Too cute.
