Priyanka Chopra and Nick Jonas reportedly won't be having children anytime soon
Ever since Priyanka Chopra and Nick Jonas tied the knot during their extravagant multi-day ceremony in Jodhpur, India last December, fans of the couple of have been eagerly waiting for a pregnancy announcement.
The loved-up duo continuously share their adoration for one another on Instagram, but that doesn’t mean the former Quantico actress will be following in her close friend Meghan Markle’s footsteps anytime soon. A source revealed to Entertainment Weekly that ‘Nick and Priyanka want kids, but right now it’s not a priority.’
With Nick soon heading off on the Happiness Begins tour with his brothers, and Priyanka travelling across the world to promote her latest movie The Sky Is Pink (in which she not only excels as an actress, but also as a producer), it is not surprising that the couple is too busy for children at the moment.
The source added that ‘Nick and Priyanka haven’t been putting pressure on having kids. They are enjoying married life, traveling and working. The couple is OK with when it happens, it happens, and it will be a blessing.’
Back in June, Chopra opened up to InStyle about having children. ‘I want to change the world a little bit,’ she said. ‘My big endgame is creating a formidable career and legacy for myself, but at the same time I want to have moved something.’
‘I want my existence to have meant something,’ she disclosed. ‘I want my kids to turn around and be like, “Yeah, that was my mom.”’
A few months prior, Nick also mentioned on Spotify’s podcast The Rewind With Guy Raz that he wants to be a father one day. ‘I think that's a real dream, and I think I have had to grow up pretty quick. […] You could say that was unfair, or you could say it has given me some real perspective at an early age.’

He then went on to say: ‘I have seen a lot of life at an early age and I hope to be able to share that with a kid of my own someday.’
Sounds like Jonas and Chopra will make wonderful parents, once they’re ready to have kids. For now, just let them focus on their booming careers.
