Prince William and Kate Middleton are set to meet Baby Archie today
And we cannot wait.
And we cannot wait.
Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are officially parents, as the royal couple excitedly announced the news last week that Baby Sussex has arrived.
‘We are pleased to announce that Their Royal Highnesses The Duke and Duchess of Sussex welcomed their firstborn child in the early morning on May 6th, 2019. Their Royal Highnesses’ son weighs 7lbs. 3oz,’ read a statement from the couple via their Sussex Royal Instagram page.
‘The Queen, The Duke of Edinburgh, The Prince of Wales, The Duchess of Cornwall, The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge, Lady Jane Fellowes, Lady Sarah McCorquodale and Earl Spencer have been informed and are delighted with the news,’ a statement announced via The Royal Family twitter, with the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge also taking to their own personal social media account, Kensington Royal, to write a personal message.
‘The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge are delighted with the news of the birth of The Duke and Duchess of Sussex’s son today, and look forward to meeting the latest addition to the family.’
Later, Prince William sent a video message to his brother, announcing: ‘We’re absolutely thrilled and looking forward to seeing him in the next few days when he’s quietened down. I’m very pleased to welcome my own brother to the sleep deprivation society that is parenting!’
Fans were surprised therefore when it was recently reported that the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge were yet to meet baby Archie - something that is set to change today.
