Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are officially parents, as the royal couple excitedly announced the news over the bank holiday that Baby Sussex has arrived.
‘We are pleased to announce that Their Royal Highnesses The Duke and Duchess of Sussex welcomed their firstborn child in the early morning on May 6th, 2019. Their Royal Highnesses’ son weighs 7lbs. 3oz,’ read a statement from the couple via their Sussex Royal Instagram page.
‘The Duchess and baby are both healthy and well, and the couple thank members of the public for their shared excitement and support during this very special time in their lives. More details will be shared in the forthcoming days.’
‘As every father and parent would say, your baby is absolutely amazing,’ Prince Harry explained to the media in a viral video. ‘This little thing is absolutely to die for – I am over the moon.’
‘The Queen, The Duke of Edinburgh, The Prince of Wales, The Duchess of Cornwall, The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge, Lady Jane Fellowes, Lady Sarah McCorquodale and Earl Spencer have been informed and are delighted with the news,’ a statement announced via The Royal Family twitter, with the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge also taking to their own personal social media account, Kensington Royal, to write a personal message.
‘The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge are delighted with the news of the birth of The Duke and Duchess of Sussex’s son today, and look forward to meeting the latest addition to the family.'

But it was today that Prince William was caught on camera talking about Baby Sussex and it's lovely.
‘We’re absolutely thrilled and looking forward to seeing him in the next few days when he’s quietened down,’ announced Prince William next to a beaming Kate.
He continued: ‘I’m very pleased to welcome my own brother to the sleep deprivation society that is parenting!’
