The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge have announced Prince Louis' godparents
All six of them!
All six of them!
Prince Louis’ Christening will take place today at 4pm at the Chapel Royal in St James’ Palace, London, and will be overseen by The Archbishop of Canterbury, Justin Welby.
The focus of the impending ceremony isn’t the location however, with attention now turning to the identity of the two-month-old’s god parents (and the first glimpse of baby Louis, now almost three months old).
While the little prince’s god parents will have been selected a while ago, their identity has been kept strictly under wraps until now.
This morning, the day of the christening, Kensington Palace has announced that Prince Louis will have a whole six godparents when he is christened.
According to the Royal Family website, the chosen ones are listed as: Mr. Nicholas van Cutsem, Mr. Guy Pelly, Mr. Harry Aubrey-Fletcher, The Lady Laura Meade, Mrs. Robert Carter and Miss Lucy Middleton.
One of Nicholas van Cutsem's two daughters was bridesmaid at William Kate and Harry and Meghan's weddings respectively, while Lucy Middleton is the Duchess of Cambridge's cousin.
