And it’s lovely
The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge announced yesterday that they are expecting their third child, with Prince William and Kate Middleton already sharing four-year-old Prince George, and two-year-old Princess Charlotte.
Taking to Twitter yesterday morning, Kensington Palace released a statement: ‘Their royal Highnesses The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge are very pleased to announce that The Duchess of Cambridge is expecting their third child. The Queen and members of both families are delighted with the news.’
The statement continued: ‘As with her previous two pregnancies, The Duchess is suffering from Hyperemesis Gravidarum. Her Royal Highness will no longer carry out her planned engagement at the Homsey Road Children’s Centre in London today. The Duchess is being cared for at Kensington Palace.’
Following the announcement of the news, people across the globe have been celebrating, with everyone from fans to high profile figures sending the couple their congratulations.
When asked how he was feeling about becoming an uncle again, Prince Harry told Sky News, ‘Fantastic, great! Very, very happy for them.’
The 32-year-old prince went on to reassure the press of his sister-in-law’s state, following the new that she is again suffering from Hyperemesis Gravidarum. Prince Harry told Sky that he hadn’t seen Kate for a while but he ‘thinks she is ok’.
