Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are going millennial with their wedding photography
We cannot wait.
We cannot wait.
Announcing their engagement last year, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are set to wed next month on May 19th at St. George’s Chapel, in Windsor castle.
With just over a month to go until the big day, there’s plenty of wedding prep for the royal couple from finalising the seating arrangements and OK-ing the flowers to selecting the official bridal party, with Prince Harry supposedly only just making Prince William best man.
Just today, the royal couple announced their latest wedding update, confirming their official photographer as Alexi Lubomirski, the same photographer behind their iconic engagement portraits.
'Prince Harry and Ms. Meghan Markle have selected Alexi Lubomirski to take the official photographs at Windsor Castle following their wedding at St George's Chapel on 19th May,' Kensington Palace announced on Twitter.
'Alexi is a well-known portrait photographer, and photographed Prince Harry and Ms. Markle last year at Frogmore House, Windsor, to mark the news of their engagement.'
The photographer opened up about the iconic shoot recently, referring to the experience as 'nutty'.

'It was a very surreal end to the year because it came out of nowhere,' he explained. 'I think one of Megan’s friends saw on Instagram that I was in England during the announcement of the engagement and I was told later that this person said to her, “You should meet Alexi. He’s great, you’d love him” and that was it.’
Going on to explain the shoot, he stated: ‘It was one of the easiest, most joyful jobs because they were so deliciously in love,’ with the photographer even going on to recall that all he had to do was to tell the couple to be themselves.
Judging by Alexi's official photos, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle's wedding photos are set to be the most millennial to date - and we cannot wait.
