This is the ultimatum that Harry and Meghan reportedly gave their friends
And we kind of get it.
And we kind of get it.
Meghan Markle is probably the most talked about woman in the world right now, proving to have just as much influence as sister-in-law, Kate Middleton.
Fans and followers model their looks on her, crashing fashion brand websites to wear the same clothes (aka Meghan Markle effect), styling their hair in the MM cut, and even asking cosmetic surgeons for the Meghan Markle nose.
Yes, it’s safe to say there is hysteria around the 37-year-old Duchess - and that’s reportedly a point of concern for her new husband, Prince Harry.
‘He worries there is too much hysteria around Meghan and he wants to row back a bit’, a source informed Vanity Fair’s royal correspondent Katie Nicholl, going on to explain that when the couple returns from a month-long holiday, we might be seeing less of Meghan.
The 37-year-old has had a trying few months, with estranged family members exploiting her royal title for their own fame, and the frenzy around Meghan is reaching boiling point.
It has even got to the point that the newlyweds have reportedly been forced to give all of their friends an ultimatum, with Katie Nicholl’s source explaining, ‘They both expect a code of silence. If you talk to the press you’re out.’

Going on, the source explained, ‘Harry didn’t used to care that much about what was written, he just said it was a load of shite, but he’s very protective of Meghan and defensive these days.’
And it seems that the royal family are also taking action. How? Well apparently by restricting access to Meghan, with the Express’s royal reporter Richard Palmer tweeting about how difficult it is to get near the Duchess.
‘Royal rota journalists are being kept further away from [Meghan] than we were before the wedding,’ he wrote in a series of tweets. ‘That means we can’t hear what she is saying. So, just as with Kate, that inevitably leaves you with little else to write about except what she wore and looked like.’
We hope Meghan and Harry are having a well-deserved holiday!
