This video of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle is confusing the internet
And we don’t know what to think.
And we don’t know what to think.
Meghan Markle stepped out of maternity leave early last weekend to attend a baseball game in London as part of the capital’s three-day American-themed festival. Joined by Prince Harry, Meghan watched the Major League Baseball match between the Boston Red Sox and the New York Yankees, with the Duchess of Sussex even meeting a distant relative, the Red Sox outfielder Mookie Betts, who she reportedly invited over for dinner.
But it wasn’t Meghan’s surprise appearance or even the personalised Yankees and Red Sox babygrows for baby Archie that got the internet talking this week, instead it was a video of the Duke and Duchess watching the baseball.
In the video, Meghan can be seen to lean into Harry to speak to him, to which Harry doesn’t react.
Unsurprisingly therefore, because the internet is the internet, fans have concluded that Prince Harry was ignoring Meghan.
We’re personally not going to read into it - especially after the viral video of Prince Harry telling Meghan to turn around at Trooping the Colour was blown out of proportion in a similar way, with fans believing that the Duke was actually telling the Duchess off.
Despite the viral video, it's lovely to see the Duchess again. We hope she enjoys the rest of her maternity leave.
