Prince Harry and Meghan Markle could be delaying having a baby for this reason
And we kind of get it.
And we kind of get it.
Ever since Prince Harry showed off his parenting skills, jokily scolding a little boy for pulling his wife’s hair and then catching two-year-old Emily Henson stealing his popcorn at last year’s Invictus Games, fans have been waiting for the 33-year-old prince to become a father himself - and it seemed like it wasn’t far off.
Prince Harry and his new wife Meghan Markle explained in their engagement interview last year that they were taking ‘one step at a time’ on the family front, with Harry explaining, ‘Hopefully we’ll start a family in the near future’.
But how long in the near future? Well, people thought it could be right now with Prince Harry fuelling baby rumours that the Sussex family was about to grow, after he put his car up for sale.
Yes, the 33-year-old may have owned his Audi RS6 Avant for just over a year, but he has already put it up for sale, with rumours that he might be upgrading his sports car for a more family-friendly model.
But it looks like we can all calm down, as it has reported that we probably won’t be seeing any Meghan-Harry babies for a while, with the couple thought to be delaying having a baby.
Why? Well, it’s all to do with their impending tour.

According to a source, the newlyweds are waiting to expand their family until after the tour, hoping to avoid a difficult trip around Australia, New Zealand, Fiji and The Kingdom of Tonga.
A royal tour sounds like hard enough work anyway, but throw in morning sickness and a long list of dietary requirements and nutritional no-nos that come with pregnancy, and it’s virtually impossible.
Hopefully it won’t be too long to wait until we hear the pitter patter of tiny Sussex feet however, with royal correspondent Katie Nicholl reporting to Entertainment Tonight that it’s only a matter or time.
‘My sources are saying that Prince Harry, particularly, is very keen to start a family, pretty soon after the royal wedding,’ Nicholl explained. ‘He’s made no secret about wanting children.’
She continued: ’I think that moment [for Harry] really kicked in when his brother, Prince William, of course, settled down with Kate Middleton. That has definitely gotten Prince Harry pretty broody.’
‘The reason he wanted Meghan to meet Prince George and Princess Charlotte was so she could see that — this would be hopefully replicated by them, that they would go on to have children. That you marry into the royal family, but that doesn’t mean you can’t have a regular family with cute children, and here are George and Charlotte to show that that can happen. That was really important to him.’
It looks like the Duke and Duchess are going to have a busy year.
