Prince Harry’s reaction to Donald Trump’s comments about Meghan was as you’d expect
This week saw Donald Trump’s official UK tour, with the President staying for three days in London as a guest of the Queen.
The Trump family arrived en masse, with their full UK tour itinerary ranging from afternoon tea with Prince Charles and Camilla to a sit down state banquet (that reportedly failed to receive many RSVPs from politicians).
The most awkward-looking event on the schedule however had to be Donald Trump’s sit down private lunch with Prince Harry - coming just after the President was recorded calling Harry’s wife Meghan ‘nasty’ and then backtracking rapidly.
While Meghan got out of taking part in the official tour (maternity leave), Prince Harry was obliged to attend, with royal fans watching for his response to DT.
Prince Harry’s reaction however was reportedly very calm, and proving that actions speak louder than words, onlookers revealed that in their opinion, the prince was notably ‘cold’ to the President.
‘Given the controversy over Meghan’s comments about Trump and his about her Harry does look unsurprisingly but also uncharacteristically wary and solemn in these poses,’ body language expert Judi James explained to Express.co.uk when analysing Prince Harry’s behaviour.
‘He stands here doing what looks like watching rather than joining in, with a cold or deadpan facial expression and what looks like a reflective eye-gaze.’
