These photographs of Prince George and Prince Charles are going viral

The Cambridges are one of the most talked-about families in the world, but while the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge spend the most time in front of the cameras, it’s their children that really steal the limelight.

From Princess Charlotte’s adorable royal wave to the photographs of Prince Louis walking, these miniature royals never fail to be the centre of attention. And this week was no different, with Prince George making news after photographs of him and his grandfather Prince Charles went viral.

The two photographs show Prince George and a young Prince Charles 64 years apart, and the resemblance between the two royals is uncanny - they are even striking the exact same pose.

The photographs went viral after the royal family released an image of four-year-old Prince Charles in between Princess Margaret and the Queen Mother to mark the anniversary of the Queen’s coronation.

After the image of a bored looking Prince Charles went viral, eagle-eyed royal fans were quick to point out the resemblance to a photo of Prince George on the Buckingham Palace balcony at 2017’s Trooping of the Colour.

Unfortunately, it looks like Prince George won’t get to recreate the pose at this year’s Trooping of the Colour over the weekend, with it rumoured that he might be given an important role alongside Princess Charlotte, with the two royals thought to be taking part in the carriage parade alongside their mother Kate Middleton.

Only time will tell!
