And there’s even a nod to the royal family...
2018 is undoubtedly the year of royal babies, with the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge welcoming Prince Louis in April and Zara and Mike Tindall having their second daughter, Lena Elizabeth, in June.
It is Kate Middleton’s sister however who is the last extended royal family member to have some baby news, welcoming her first child, a baby boy, with her husband James Matthews in October.
‘James and Pippa have had a baby boy,’ read a statement by Pippa and James’ spokesperson. ‘He was born Monday 15th October at 1.58pm, weighing 8lb and 9oz. Everyone is delighted and mother and baby are doing well.’
While Pippa Middleton has been spotted out and about with her newborn since the birth, the baby’s name has until now been under wraps.
According to the Mail on Sunday, the wait is over. And the name in question? Arthur Michael William Matthews.
The names Arthur and William are both a nod to the royal family, and Michael is a significant moniker to both the Middleton and the Matthews families, with Pippa’s father and James’ late brother sharing the name.
