This celebrity will ‘never be invited back’ to the Met Gala
And we didn’t see that coming…
And we didn’t see that coming…
The Met Gala is the most exclusive event in the New York social calendar, with A-list celebrities and high profile figures from far and wide dying for an invite - a notoriously difficult feat.
Hosted by Vogue Editor-in-Chief, Anna Wintour, the ball is an annual fundraising event for the benefit of the Metropolitan Museum of Art's Costume Institute in New York - with the co-chairs changing each year - ranging from Katy Perry and Beyonce to Taylor Swift and Sarah Jessica Parker.
The next Met Gala will take place in April 2018 and people are already getting excited, but it looks like one celebrity won't have to worry about what they're going to wear to the 2018 event as they won't be attending.
That's right, during a recent appearance on The Late Late Show With James Corden, Anna revealed the one celebrity she would never invite back to the Gala and while her answer is hardly surprising, it was unexpected.
While playing the show's trademark game, 'Spill Your Guts or Fill Your Guts', the good friends asked each other awkward questions, then given the option to answer or forfeit and be forced to eat one of the disgusting foods in front of them - everything from bull's penis to pickled pigs feet.
While host James was asked which Carpool Karaoke guest he faked the most enthusiasm for and which of Anna's past dinner guests he found the most boring, Anna was asked to rank fashion designers from best to worst and then to reveal which celebrity she would never invite back to the Met Gala.

'Anna, you famously host the celebrated Met Gala that takes place in Manhattan each year - celebrities from all walks of life are desperate to get a ticket and everyone from George Clooney to Beyonce attends,' explained James. 'So my question is, who would you never invite back to the Met Gala?'
'Donald Trump,' she immediately replied to avoid the plate of pickled pigs feet, greeted by cheers from the audience, with James telling her, 'that is a great answer!'
Donald Trump is not the first and won't be the last to be taken off the exclusive event's guest list, with supermodel Coco Rocha and fashion figures Tim Gunn and Rachel Zoe also said to have been disinvited over the years.
