Meghan Markle was apparently put off a birthday party by her baby shower backlash

This weekend saw Meghan Markle’s birthday, with the Duchess of Sussex celebrating her 38th year in a very low-key way.
Even the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge are reported to be out of the celebrations, something that has predictably fuelled rumours of feuds and fallouts once more.
In actual fact, the Duchess is thought to be spending some quality time with her husband Prince Harry and her son Archie, with a source telling The Sun that the former Suits actress has been put off doing anything lavish after her baby shower backlash.
For those who have forgotten, Meghan’s New York A-list baby shower is said to have cost hundreds of thousands, something that angered the public, with even royal family members rumoured to have disapproved of the spectacle.
‘Frogmore Cottage will host a celebration for Meghan’s birthday,’ a source told The Sun of Meghan’s plans ahead of the weekend. 'The Clooneys clan will be in Villa Oleandra on Lake Como and the Sussexes will not want to be seen enjoying more of their lavish hospitality after the PR disaster backlash post the US baby shower.’
Despite being a low-key affair, we hope Meghan had a very happy birthday with her nearest and dearest!
