Meghan Markle’s brother just took sides in the Markle family feud
And it’s not what we expected.
And it’s not what we expected.
Meghan Markle has a difficult relationship with her father, Thomas Markle, something that has plagued her first few months as a royal.
The Markles as a whole have created a lot of drama around the now Duchess of Sussex, from estranged nephew Tyler Dooley naming his cannabis business after her to estranged half sister Samantha Grant rumoured to be appearing on Celebrity Big Brother.
The loudest noise however has surrounded Meghan’s father.
There was the ongoing drama of whether he would be walking her down the aisle, not to mention his staged photographs for the press, and appearance on Good Morning Britain, even talking about Princess Diana in some controversial comments this month, announcing it would be his last ever interview.
It seems that our sigh of relief was premature however, as the 74-year-old went public yet again, divulging about his contact with his son-in-law, Prince Harry, in an interview with The Mail on Sunday over the weekend.
Thomas recalled the two men having a heated phone call after his involvement with the press emerged, resulting in Meghan’s father hanging up the phone on Prince Harry, telling the couple that they probably want him dead.

One family member who has remained relatively silent in the Thomas-Meghan fallout is the Duchess of Sussex’s half-brother, Thomas Markle Jr.
But as of this week the 52-year-old has officially taken sides, and unfortunately for Meghan, he’s team Thomas.
‘Throughout our lives, dad always put Meg first, above me and my sister, but if what he is saying is true it appears she is abusing his love for her’, Markle Jr. reportedly explained in a recent interview with The Mirror. ’It’s selfish, cruel even. He gave her everything and now she is giving him nothing but hurt back.’
He continued: ‘They say blood is thicker than water, but perhaps the blue blood of the royals now runs through Meg’s veins. It’s heartbreaking to see how this has changed her and the devastation it has caused to my family. Anyone who saw Meg when she was growing up knew her and my dad were inseparable. Now it looks as though they may never speak again.’
We’re not sure what to make of this - we just hope that Meghan is being looked after.
