Meghan Markle and Prince Harry tied the knot last weekend at St George’s Chapel, Windsor Castle, with the Queen giving the couple the title of the Duke and Duchess of Sussex as a wedding present.
Now that the former Suits actress is officially a royal, things have definitely changed, from the fact that she now has to follow royal protocol - aka wearing tights and hats - to moving into Kensington Palace.
One of the biggest changes for a commoner becoming a royal however is greetings, with people now having to bow and curtsy to the 36-year-old when they meet her.
Someone this proved confusing for was an old friend to the Duchess, her make up artist Daniel Martin, but according to him, Meghan doesn’t plan on anything changing.
‘I asked her “Do I bow to you? I don’t want to disrespect you, but I’ve known you for almost ten years. What’s up?”’, he explained to The Express.
Meghan’s response? The now Duchess reportedly burst out laughing and insisted, ‘I’m always going to be Meg!’.

‘Next time I see them I will be respectful and know my protocol,’ the make up artist went on to explain. 'But Meg is always going to be Meg, that’s how it is!’
