The Duchess of Sussex was seen shedding a tear on BBC’s live feed
All eyes were on Meghan Markle and Kate Middleton at the Commonwealth Day service on Monday. The Duchess of Cambridge and Duchess of Sussex were spotted embracing each other at Westminster Abbey as they arrived, dispelling all of those feud rumours once again.
But as we all know, the internet likes to speculate and when Meghan Markle, who was sitting next to her husband Harry, was seen shedding a tear on BBC’s live feed during the ceremony, royalty fans were quick to speculate on what had made the soon mother-to-be so emotional – and no, it wasn’t hormones.
As it turns out; Meghan and Harry – as well as the rest of the royal family – were watching singer Alfie Boe perform an a cappella version of power ballad Run by Snow Patrol. And honestly, who wouldn’t cry during a powerful live performance like this?
Meghan Markle also made the headlines earlier this week, when she was spotted without her engagement ring. Don't worry; the Duchess, who is currently in her third trimester and is due to give birth in April, actually has a very good reason for not wearing her gorgeous trio of diamonds. Her fingers are simply too swollen from the pregnancy.
Well, that's that.
