Meghan Markle meeting Beyoncé is the best thing you’ll see today
Friendship goals.
Friendship goals.
Meghan Markle and Prince Harry are one of the most talked-about couples in the world, with the Duke and Duchess of Sussex recently welcoming their first child, baby Archie, to the world.
But it wasn’t Archie’s Christening or the speculation around Godparents that got the world talking about Meghan and Harry this weekend. Instead it was their meeting the Carters.
The royal couple attended the London premiere of Disney’s live action remake of The Lion King and surprise, surprise - the photos of Harry and Meghan meeting Beyoncé (voicing Nala in the film) and Jay Z are going viral.
The two couples hugged, with Beyoncé reportedly gushing to Meghan about Archie, overheard telling the royal, ‘that baby is so beautiful’.
While the two haven’t publicly crossed paths before, the iconic singer has previously been vocal in her support for the Duchess.
At the BRIT Awards earlier this year, the Carters who were unable to accept their Best International Group award thanked viewers by VT, choosing to stand in front of a painting of Meghan as the Mona Lisa.

Speaking of the choice, Beyoncé stated, ‘In honour of Black History Month, we bow down to one of our Melanated Monas. Congrats on your pregnancy! We wish you so much joy.’
