Matthew Perry (AKA Chandler Bing) was rushed into hospital for emergency surgery this week after the Friends actor suffered a health scare.
Thankfully the 48-year-old seems to be recovering fast after what was revealed to be a gastrointestinal perforation.
‘Matthew Perry recently underwent surgery in a Los Angeles hospital to repair a gastrointestinal perforation,’ the actor’s representative announced in a statement. ‘He is grateful for the concern and asks for continued privacy as he heals.’
After his long recovery, Matthew is expected to return to his onscreen projects, recently reprising his role as Good Wife’s Mike Kresteva in its spin-off show, The Good Fight. And of course his work behind the camera, recently executive producing The Kennedys After Camelot.
Maybe even a Friends reunion? No, OK we'll push for that when he's feeling better.
We're wishing Matthew a speedy recovery!
