Singer LeAnn Rimes has entered an in-patient treatment facility to cope with 'anxiety and stress,' according to her publicist Marcel Pariseau.
Rimes, who is married to CSI: Miami actor Eddie Cibrian, was all smiles when she was spotted out and about in LA at chic eatery Nobu wearing an off-the-shoulder T-shirt, ASTARS maxi skirt, snakeskin clutch and Isabel Marant fringed ankle boots as she continued her 30th birthday celebrations on the day before she checked herself into a rehab facility.
According to an exclusive statement released to People magazine by the singer's publicist: 'LeAnn has voluntarily entered a 30 day in-patient treatment facility to cope with anxiety and stress.'
'While there will be speculation regarding her treatment, she is simply there to learn and develop coping mechanisms. While privacy isn't expected, it's certainly appreciated.'
Pariseau also stressed that Rimes isn't seeking treatment for an eating disorder or substance abuse.

'This is just a time for me to emotionally check out for a second and take care of myself and come back in 30 days as the best 30-year-old woman I can be,' LeAnn said. 'All the things in my life will be there when I get out, but you know what? I'm hoping they're not going to affect me as much. I'll have the tools to know how to deal with them.'
In related news, the singer is also suing Kimberly and Lexi Smiley for invasion of privacy, claiming the two women illegally recorded a phone conversation with her and then posted snippets of the conversation out of context on various websites.
Rimes is suing for £16,000 and has claimed that the postings have 'harmed her reputation and personal relationships and have caused her emotional distress.'
LeAnn's husband Eddie has spoken out about how he is supporting his wife through this challenge.
'My wife is the most remarkable and courageous woman I know,' he told People. 'I am so proud of her for having the strength to finally take some time for herself. I will be with her every step of the way.' All the best wishes for LeAnn's speedy recovery.
