Lady Gaga just posted a very emotional message about the BAFTAs
And it's lovely.

And it's lovely.
Tonight marks the 2019 BAFTAs, with a host of A-listers and royalty taking to the Royal Albert Hall red carpet.
But it wasn’t the Duchess of Cambridge’s earrings from Princess Diana or the red carpet being temporarily shut down that got the world talking. Instead, it was Lady Gaga as she posted a heartfelt message to social media about the awards.
The 32-year-old was reported to be skipping the BAFTA ceremony earlier this month, where she is nominated for Best Actress, along with a number of A Star Is Born nominations. And why? It’s all down to timings.
Lady Gaga and Bradley Cooper are reportedly splitting the Grammys and the BAFTAs between them, with the film nominated for numerous awards at both ceremonies.
Even she couldn’t help but celebrate however when A Star Is Born took home the BAFTA for Best Original Music, taking to her social media to post a heartfelt message.
‘I can’t believe we just won Best Original Music @BAFTA ‘s,’ she posted alongside a photo of herself with her head in her hands. ‘I wish so much I was there but am at the Grammy’s to show them our love as well. We made a film about music. This means the world to me. Thank u to all our fans we love u so much, we wouldn’t be here without u #BAFTAs.’
